Mr. Dassa Bulcha, Chief Managing Partner Mr. Dassa Bulcha, an acclaimed legal expert with over 20 years of experience, is a former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Oromia State and co-founder of the Legal Training and Research Institute of Oromia State. He has a strong track record in leadership and legal and policy advice in government, private and international organizations, including the UN system and Forum of Federations.
Mr. Bulcha has established solid litigation skills in high profile cases before federal and regional higher-level courts. Besides, he demonstrated strong legal research and policy advisory skills, delivering dozens of assignments involving legal and policy analysis and advice to regional, national, and international organizations and companies. Moreover, he has excellent drafting and writing skills for various legal documents, including analytical reports and complex contracts. He has in-depth knowledge of Ethiopian legal system including Corporate Law, Contract Law, International and Trade Law, Investment and Land Law, and Human Rights Law.
Mr. Bulcha is a member of several professional associations. He currently practices law as a Senior Legal Attorney and Consultant. He is a founder and chief managing partner of Guma Advocates Law Firm.
